Agitated

A while ago I posted on my news blog I was creating a new game that was too hard to explain because I had no Idea how to. I sort have a piece-wise definition that I will now explain:

The game is a basic platformer. Use A to go left and D to go right (or arrow keys if that's your thing). Use Space to jump, and use W (or up) to go through a door. To unlock the door, you must first find all the "objects" (ranging from a basketball to a cake to a purple box thing). Some walls move. Some pitfalls don't actually kill you. I made this game as a joke, with the sole intention to cause anger and stress. In this level, it isn't too hard, but later, I plan on having over 100 objects. Imagine doing this over 50 rooms with hidden boxes that are just way too improbable to guess (actually don't. I want people to like this game).

My hope is to create a highly-addictive game that will bring players back over and over again. The problem with games like this, though, is that once you beat each level, you can no longer enjoy the game as you aren't just randomly guessing, but remembering. This means I will have to create hundreds of levels. Yay....

This has been my main focus for a while, and with Title:UNKNOWN now becoming a thing, I will be putting Circuits and Marblez on a back burner (unless people show interest in these games).

You can download the game below, or visit the website. Any donations over $10 will get your name in the credits at the end under "Sponsors" (Very official, I know).

Programming

This game is being made in GameMaker. I hope to export this onto Android and (eventually) iOS devices. I will be posting updates for this game in my news blog and monthly newsletters. Despite using GameMaker, the game is completly made using Code, and not drag-and-drop. As stated under the About Me page, I am doing most of my programming at the moment to learn, and drag-and-drop is not much learning.
